ESD Adhesive Polyimide
ESD tape stands for Electrostatic Discharge tape. It is a type of adhesive tape designed to prevent or dissipate static electricity.
Using polyimide film as backing with excellent heat resistance silicone adhesive coating, the polyimide is widely used in various applications, such as heat-resistant insulation of electrical/electronic equipment, insulation of electrodes in secondary batteries and applications requiring heat-resistant masking. The ESD type tape is made by ESD treatment on the surface of the backing film to provide good electrostatic dissipation. It is used in applications where electrostatic discharge is a concern.

Static Dissipation
ESD polyimide tape is designed to dissipate static electricity, reducing the risk of electrostatic discharge (ESD) that can damage sensitive electronic components.
Heat Resistance
Polyimide tape can withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for applications where heat resistance is essential, such as soldering and wave solder masking.
Chemical Resistance
It is resistant to many chemicals, oils, and solvents, which can be important in environments where exposure to these substances is common.
Durability
ESD polyimide tape is known for its durability and ability to maintain its properties in harsh manufacturing conditions.
Versatility
It can be used for various applications, including masking during PCB (printed circuit board) production, coil wrapping, and insulation.
Features
Good electrical insulation properties / Superior dimension stability /
High temperature resistance / Superior electrostatic dissipation.
Datasheet
A 1 Mil polyester film backing with a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive system engineered to leave no residue when removed.
Designed to perform where special substrates such as siliconised or PTFE materials must be held down during processing. May also be used as a blocking tape in some industries.
